1) What is the best printer for producing under 1000 cards per year?
We recommend the Datacard SD260 card printer as it produces a great quality image, includes many advanced features such as Ethernet connectivity and big LCD screen for an entry level printer cost.
2) How often should I clean my printer?
Maintaining your printer is very important to maintain a great quality print. Each printer has it's own guidelines on how often to run a cleaning cycle in the manual, however we recommended to run a full cycle at least twice per ribbon roll used.
3) Why does my mini reel break?
The majority of mini reels are sourced from overseas where quality is very variable. We source our mini reels from a reliable supplier with excellent quality and strength.
4) Why should I change to a safety breakaway lanyard?
The safety breakaway on a lanyard protects the wearer from being choked by providing a weak spot for the lanyard to 'break'. These are now required under OH&S laws in Australia.
